Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of mediation.app.

Last updated August 4, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using mediation.app — on the web or through our mobile applications — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Not Legal Advice

mediation.app provides educational content, organizational tools, and a marketplace for connecting with independent professionals. We are not a law firm, and nothing on the platform is legal advice. Educational materials are general information only. Decisions in a divorce or mediation should be made with the advice of licensed professionals in your state.

Independent Professionals

Attorneys, mediators, and other providers listed in the marketplace are independent professionals, not employees or agents of mediation.app. We do not supervise their work and are not a party to any engagement you enter with them. Verification badges reflect checks we perform at listing time and are not a guarantee of outcomes.

Your Account & Content

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your credentials secure. You retain ownership of documents and data you add to the platform; you grant us the limited rights needed to store and process them in order to provide the service.

Subscriptions

Paid plans unlock additional features. Pricing and plan details are presented before you subscribe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the service to harass another party, submit false information, probe or disrupt our systems, or violate any law. We may suspend accounts that put other users or the platform at risk.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, mediation.app is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from engagements with independent professionals.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated revision date, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
